ABOUT DR. LOU TROVATO
STATUS: Dr. Lou is now officially and happily retired, but you will
sometimes come across him in the office where he still writes the CBCT
Scan reports. He is also available for phone consultations, podcast
interviews, and Zoom sessions (between golf matches).
Raised in Richboro, Pennsylvania, Dr. Lou is a 1974 graduate of Council
Rock High School, 1978 graduate of La Salle University, 1982 graduate
of Temple University Kornberg School of Dental Medicine, and 2010 graduate
- as a Board-Certified NMD - of the American College of Integrative
Medicine and Dentistry. He shares his free time with family and
friends. He still travels frequently for postgraduate
education. Dr. Lou has trained with the nation's foremost experts in
integrative dental medicine, oxygen-ozone therapy, cosmetic dentistry, and
neuromuscular occlusal health and has himself lectured on advanced topics
to other general dentists and alternative health practitioners - especially on craniomandibular health and holistic,
health-oriented dentistry.
Dr. Lou is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the
American Academy of General Dentistry,1 and the American Academy
of Craniofacial Pain.2 The distinction of three Fellowships ranks Dr. Lou among less than 1% of
the dentists of America. He is a Board Certified NMD, and he is SMART-certified and
accredited by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology for
mercury-safe amalgam replacement.
1The Academy of General Dentistry is considered one of the nation's
premier organizations for general dentists, and a general dentist who has
been made a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry is recognized by
other general dentists as a leader and an example in the field. To
earn a Fellowship, Dr. Trovato completed over 500 hours of postgraduate
education in five years of continuous membership in the AGD and passed a
comprehensive 400-question written
exam. 2A Fellowship
from the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain indicates the extent of Dr.
Trovato's studies, skills and experience in the field of temporomandibular
joint health. To earn a fellowship, Dr. Lou completed five years of course
work, an extensive mini-residency, rigorous case presentations to a panel
of Fellows, and a four-hour comprehensive written exam.
Dr. Trovato's life philosophy is to give of himself freely, to
stretch his boundaries constantly, to be intensely present in everything in which he participates, to laugh often, to
promote harmony, and to be aware of and grateful for the simple gifts of life.

ABOUT DR. DAVID KLASS
Dr. David Klass, a lifelong Greater Philadelphia Area resident, grew up in Lafayette Hill.
He graduated from Penn State’s Schreyer Honors College in 2001 and went on
to receive a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Drexel University. Deciding
that he was ready for a new challenge, he pursued a career in dentistry,
graduating from the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in
2015.
Dr. David went on to complete a general practice residency at Abington
Memorial Hospital. There he received advanced training in cosmetic dentistry
and oral surgery. Since then, Dr. David has continued to hone his craft

services in Guatemala.
When he isn’t working, Dr. David loves spending time with his family and
friends. While on vacation, he can be found in one of two extremes: either

A Positive Experience
-
As a team, we believe preventive care promotes optimal dental
health.
We focus on thorough routine exams and professional
cleanings
to ensure the health of your teeth and gums.
-
Whole food nutrition is foundational in holistic dentistry. We
can help you bring your pH back into balance so your saliva can
effectively remineralize your tooth enamel. Make an appointment any time with our on-site dental nutritionist if you
are uncertain which foods will best support the health of your gums, teeth
and tissues.
-
We offer VELscope oral cancer screening blue light technology for early
detection of precancerous tissue for high-risk patients.
-
We provide low-exposure digital x-rays. (Ask us how to protect
against free radicals or read our webpage on radiation protection under
the button "Holistic Dentistry.")
-
We practice mercury-safe dentistry.
-
We offer health services integral to holistic dentistry like dental nutritional
counseling, medical-grade oxygen-ozone therapy, EMF remediation
counseling, low level laser therapy, and more. Ask us!
-
We use biocompatible, non-metal, xeno-estrogen-free dental materials to
support whole-body health.
-
We are fluoride-free.
Uncompromising Safety
Infection control is important to us. To protect our patients and
ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination
procedures using standards recommended by the American Dental Association
(ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the
Center for Disease Control (CDC).
